How we report, verify, and stand behind our journalism.
Our mission
Tech Innovators covers technology, startups, AI and innovation with a focus on India and the wider world. Our goal is accurate, independent, useful journalism that helps readers understand what is happening and why it matters.
Accuracy & verification
- We verify facts, figures, names and dates before publishing, and prefer primary sources — company filings, official announcements, named spokespeople and on-the-record interviews.
- Where a claim cannot be independently confirmed, we say so and attribute it clearly.
- We do not publish fabricated statistics, quotes or events. When a number is unknown, we discuss it qualitatively rather than inventing one.
Sourcing & attribution
We credit the original reporting we build on and link to primary sources where possible. Analysis and commentary are clearly distinguished from straight news reporting.
Independence & conflicts of interest
- Our editorial decisions are independent of advertisers, sponsors and commercial partners.
- Sponsored or paid content is always labelled as such and kept separate from editorial coverage.
- Staff disclose any personal or financial interest in the subjects they cover.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently. See our Corrections Policy for how errors are handled and how to report one.
Feedback
We welcome tips, corrections and feedback. Use our contact page to reach the newsroom.
