Skyroot Aerospace successfully launched 24 satellites into sun-synchronous orbit aboard Vikram-2, the company's first fully commercial mission and a watershed for India's private space industry.
Customers spanned earth observation, IoT connectivity and academic payloads from eight countries, attracted by pricing roughly 30% below comparable Western rideshares.
The company says its launch manifest is fully booked through mid-2027, and a heavier Vikram-3 is in structural testing.
